Let's All Learn About Heart Disease

Circulatory system also known as the vascular system is involved in the heart disorder. The heart is the main organ involved in this system. The heart pumps blood through the arteries to all cells in the body, sending nutrients, hormones, and oxygen. The arteries split, providing some blood to the 5-10 micrometer capillaries, which will organize red blood in a single file. The capillaries feed deoxygenated cells in tissues. The flow of blood in the capillaries are controlled by precapillary sphincters. These structures are between capillaries and arterioles and have muscle fiber, that makes the structure able to move. Once the sphincters open, blood freely flows through the capillary beds. Capillary beds are where fluid exchange happen because the walls of capillaries are only one cell thick, which means diffusion can happen. Once the structure is closed, blood stops and isn’t allowed to flow through the capillary beds. The deoxygenated blood cells send back carbon dioxide, waste and other gases back to the heart through the veins. The heart replace the waste with oxygen from the lungs and the blood keep circulating.

Heart disease caused the disorder to circulatory system by blocking the artilleries, capillaries and veins, its slows down the blood circuit or even completely blocking the passage, which could rupture or harden and could lead to death. This is caused by fatty oil, called plaques, building up Heart on damaged arteries. Plaques build up caused by smoking, bad cholesterol aka High LDL, high blood pressure (above 140/90 mm), high blood sugar, alcohol consumption, excess weight and last of all lack of exercise. Once the plaques rupture (bursted), platelets will form around the site of injuries, they may group together creating blood clots. Over time blood clots could narrow down the passage in artilleries, if large enough it will stop blood flow and cause heart attack. If the plaques were to harden instead, the hardened plaques will narrow the coronary arteries, reducing oxygenated blood cell to flow easily. This can cause chest pain called angina. Angina is chest pain or discomfort, occurs when heart muscle doesn’t get enough oxygen-rich blood. Symptom of heart diseases can be spotted recognized easily, the most common symptom is angina, as explained above angina is chest pain. Angina can be described as a discomfort, heaviness, pressure, aching, burning, fullness, squeezing, or painful feeling in your chest. This symptom often occur on male than female. Female usually feel pain back or neck pain. Heart disease might cost heart attack.
